Favourite Subject in School:

History

Memories of Loreto Crumlin:

I think about my old teachers a lot!

My Journey Through Education:

After the Leaving Cert, I went to Maynooth University to study Politics and Sociology and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. During my degree, I did a year abroad in Montréal, Canada. In 2017 I decided to do an evening course to get a Diploma in Digital Marketing with Irish Times Training. I was lucky because I got to study things I was interested in.

My Career Path:

I knew I wanted to work in the charity sector when I first left college, and I managed to get an internship with the Simon Communities of Ireland. Towards the end of my internship, I decided I wanted to work in a more digital role, so I did the course in Irish Times Training and got another internship as a copywriter. After this, I went to work for SpunOut.ie, Ireland’s Youth Information Website, where I am now Senior Online Content Producer. My job involves writing and editing articles, organising information campaigns, social media, and a lot more.
