Class of 2008

Favourite Subject in School:

Music

Memories of Loreto Crumlin:

I have nothing but happy memories from my time in Loreto Crumlin but my fondest memories are from Transition Year. We had the opportunity to study new subjects and learn new skills while having lots of fun. My favorite part of transition year was performing in the school musical My Fair Lady.

My Journey Through Education:

I studied Music and Geography in UCD and graduated with an honours degree in 2011. Since then I have completed a number of banking exams and obtained a distinction in a QQI Certificate in Training Delivery and Evaluation in 2016.

My Career Path:

I have been working in the financial services industry since 2012 in a number of roles including Direct Sales and Litigation. I currently work as a Learning and Development Consultant in Ulster bank and have been in this role for just over 3 years.  I have also been teaching dancing for 11 years in a number of stage schools around Dublin. I have had the pleasure of being part of the production team with Ms. Cullen and Mr. Greene for the Loreto Transition Year musicals for the past 8 years. Shows I have choreographed are Hairspray, Grease, High School Musical, Back to the ’80s, All Shook Up, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Legally Blonde and I am currently working with this year’s transition years on Sister Act. I really enjoy working with the students in Loreto, they’re always enthusiastic, mannerly, hard-working and we always have so much fun!
