5th and 6th Year Leaving Cert English students attended a performance of The Plough and the Stars in the Abbey Theatre on April 9th. It gave the students an opportunity to see their coursework come alive on the national stage. The visit coincided with the 1916 State Commemoration and our own ceremonies in school, at which a scene from O’Casey’s work was performed by Taylor Smith (Mollser Gogan), Mrs. Gogan by Aoife Dunne, The Young Covey by Mandy Campbell and Peter Flynn by Nicole Kelly (pictured above)
