Festive Fund-Raising

As it’s Christmas time, our staff and students are using the season of Advent to think of others instead of ourselves.  With this in mind, we’re engaging in a variety of fund-raising initiatives to raise some much needed money for charities in our own and wider community.  We are also raising money for the refurbishment of our school stage.

These fund raising initiatives include:

  • Hampers for our local St. Vincent de Paul society.
  • Shoe Box Appeal – Fourteen shoe boxes full of useful items for homeless people in Dublin.
  • Student Council Candy Canes for students and teachers raised €138
  • Charity Kris Kindle among our staff for local good causes.
  • Library bake sale.
  • 1 Beethoven class cake sale in aid of Loreto Rumbek, Sudan, pictured at top of page.  They raised €132.61.  A huge success.
  • CFES money raising initiatives such as “First Year Cinema”, “Come to school as your favourite Literary Character” (both held at Hallowe’en) and a sponsored walk in the new year.
  • School Choir Carol Singing who raised €605 for various charities through the Loreto Past Pupil’s Union

Your support in all of these initiatives is greatly appreciated.
