Irish, French, Albanian and Slovak were just a few of the languages that rang over the intercom in our school on European Day of Languages on September 26th.
Many of our multi-lingual students gave us cheerful greetings and friendly messages in their native tongues and these were then interpreted by Ms. Maxwell and Ms. Dolan into English. Students also watched a video where celebrities spoke in a myriad of different languages. There was also a fun language quiz.
We heard greetings in Latvian, Slovak, Albanian, Arabic, Romanian, Slovenian, Hungarian, Estonian, Russian, Irish and French.
