At a special ceremony in the school, Darren Caffrey (from the Piece of Filth ad) raised the Green Flag awarded last year to the school by the Green Schools Programme.

Green-Schools is an international environmental education programme and award scheme that promotes and acknowledges long-term, whole-school action for the environment.

For the past three years, the Green Committee and Ms Byrne have ensured we followed the seven step programme, reusing and recycling as much as possible and saving energy where ever we could..

We are very proud to become the nineteenth second level school in the Dublin area to achieve this award.
