Students launch Genocide Resource

Last year, a group of Transition Year students joined a group from Presentation College Bray to work on a very inspiring project on Genocide. Four years ago, the students from Bray and a school in Belfast painted a 32foot long mural on the theme of Genocide.

Working with 80:20 and Concern, the students revisitd the mural and added the name of Darfur to the long list of names of places where genocide had occured.

"Exploring Genocide", an educational resource booklet which will be used in teachng Development Education throughout the country is the result of their discussions and projects.
